Megan D. Brown, CPA
After graduating with her accounting degree in 2002 Megan went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. She joined a local NWI accounting firm, where she quickly became a trusted source for her expertise in individual and corporate income tax. In 2011, Megan started Brown CPA, Inc. with the intent to provide personalized and affordable tax services. She takes each client's matter to heart, and makes it her mission to ensure they are satisfied and maximizing their benefits to full potential. She works tirelessly to resolve challenging issues with the IRS and other tax entities. Megan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA society. Her experience includes tax preparation, tax planning, financial statements, payroll, audit support, and QuickBooks.
Mary Gibson, Bookkeeper
Mary joined Brown CPA in 2019 and is the newest addition to the team. Mary graduated from Indiana University Northwest with an Associate's degree in Business. She is a native of Northwest Indiana. Mary has 20 years of experience working in the business setting performing various accounting related functions including inventory accounting and special projects. Mary is primarily responsible for payroll processing, ensuring our clients receive a high level of accuracy. She also assists with bookkeeping and accounting functions such as bank reconciliations and data entry for business clients.
Rheanna Colby, Accountant
Meet Rheanna, a recent addition to the Brown CPA team! When you arrive through our lobby, she is sure to be the first smiling face you see and offer a friendly hello! Rheanna is a recent graduate of Indiana University Northwest with her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance. She has many years of experience working in the business field, providing administrative and client support. Rheanna is responsible payroll processing and tax, bookkeeping, accounting, and assistance with tax preparation for our business and individual clients.
