After graduating with her accounting degree in 2002 Megan went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. She joined a local NWI accounting firm, where she quickly became a trusted source for her expertise in individual and corporate income tax. In 2011, Megan started Brown CPA, Inc. with the intent to provide personalized and affordable tax services. She takes each client's matter to heart, and makes it her mission to ensure they are satisfied and maximizing their benefits to full potential. She works tirelessly to resolve challenging issues with the IRS and other tax entities. Megan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA society. Her experience includes tax preparation, tax planning, financial statements, payroll, audit support, and QuickBooks.
Mary joined our team in 2019 as a bookkeeper. A pround Northwest Indiana native and graduate of Indiana University Northwest with a degree in business, Mary has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the business world. She's done it all-from inventory accounting to special projects, and truly understands the ins and outs of what keeps a small business running smoothly. Around here, she is our bookkeeping pro, keeping the number and financials in check. She provides support to our business clients with bookkeeping, QuickBooks training, and the essential behind-the-scene details. Outside of work, Mary loves spending time with her husband and kids, epecially cheering them on at their volleyball and softball games.
Meet Rheanna, our go-to Accountant who keeps things running smoothly. She's a proud graduate of Indiana University Northwest, where she earned her degree in Accounting and Finance. With many years of experience in the business world, Rheanna knows her stuff, whether it's payroll, keeping books in tip-top shape, or tax preparation. She is the friendly face you'll see when you walk through our door. Rheanna is always ready to help our clients and brings both professionalism and positivity to everything she does. Outside of number crunching, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. Family, community and purposes keep her grounded every day.
Michelle joined us in 2021 as a Bookkeeper, bringing with her a solid background in management from the furniture wholesale industry. In her previous role, she wore many hats, overseeing workflow, managing order processing, and making sure the customer experience was top-notch, just to name a few.
At our company, Michelle plays a key role in keeping things organized and on track. She’s responsible for processing client payrolls and managing general ledgers with precision, handling tax document preparation, and staying connected with clients to make sure their needs are met.
When she’s not at work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing in her garden, her happy place outside of spreadsheets and filing cabinets.
